Cincinnati State vs Rio Grande

Cincinnati state 9 - Rio grande 0

Big win but game could have been better.
I thought that when soccer players reached college level they would understand the game of soccer better. ....that soccer is a team sport and you work together with your teammates to get the best result for the team. There are a few that does not understand the concept and unfortunately those few can bring a whole team down in a situation when you are not winning with 9 goals. I hope it gets better as the season progresses.

Boys soccer: Milford, Fairfield play to 3-3 tie
Journal news

BOYS SOCCER
MILFORD 3, FAIRFIELD 3: The Indians remain winless after tying Milford on Tuesday, Aug. 31. Troy Wintermeyer, Brandon Hoover and T.J. Newbright each scored goals, and Matt Feller had two assists for Fairfield (0-1-2), which will travel to Elder on Thursday.

To be in advantage 3-1 and in 3 minutes loose it all is something that makes you very mad. And Joel was furious on the way home from the game last night. I was afraid to even breathe in the car. He was mad at himself . To him a tie is the same as a loss......it's not a win....as he said yesterday when I tried to lighten things up.

Well, there is a new game on Thursday @ Elder.
Better luck Fairfield.
